Tandoori wings

spicy, fragrant tandoori wings

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg chicken wings with skin

  • 1 Tbsp garam masala powder

  • 1/2 Tsp turmeric

  • 10 curry leaves, ground / 1 Tsp curry powder

  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste

  • 1/2 cup yogurt

  • 2 Tbsp oil

  • 1/2 Tsp chilli

  • 1 Tsp salt

GARNISH

  • 1 Small red onion

  • 1 Tsp parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and marinate wings for at least 1 hour or overnight if possible.

  • Preheat oven to the highest setting.

  • Place the wings on a baking tray & cover with foil.

  • Bake the wings for about 20-25 mins or until golden & the juices run clear once pricked.

  • Serve hot straight out of the oven, garnished with thinly sliced red onion & parsley.
