A Classic, easy lemonade, perfect on a hot summer's day
INGREDIENTS
5 big, juicy lemons
1/4 cup sugar
1 litre water
1 Tsp orange blossom
1 Blood orange
2 Strawberries
6-8 mint leaves
GARNISH
Lime wedges
Strawberries & forest fruits
Mint leaves
INSTRUCTIONS
Squeeze the juice from the lemons into a large jug. Add the sugar, water and orange blossom. Blend well.
Top up with ice or frozen slices of lemon and lime.
To make the strawberry Lemonade, (per cup) add 2 strawberries to a glass of pre-made lemonade & blend with crushed ice. Top with strawberry sauce if desired.
To make blood orange lemonade- simply squeeze one orange into the pre-made lemonade.
To make minted lemonade, to a small blender, add crushed ice and 6-8 mint leaves. Blend until fine and mix with pre- made lemonade.
Serve chilled & enjoy!
